Rules and Regulations of the Institution Membership
The following are eligible for the membership of the Institution
- Farmers, Scientists, Technologists and Professionals engaged in agroforestry.
- Institutions and Organizations working for agroforestry and related industries
There shall be the following categories of members of the Institution

| 4 | Farmer Member | Rs.2,000/- |
2. Rights and privileges of members of the Institution
The rights and privileges of the members will be governed by the Bye-laws.
3. Admission of Members
3.1.1 A person desirous of enrolling himself as a member of the Institution shall make an application in writing in the prescribed form which shall be signed by him and also contain an acceptance of an agreement to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Institution. The Executive Committee shall be the sole authority to accept the application and approve for the membership and its decision shall be final.
The eligibility of the member and rules and privileges of different category of members shall be as follows.
| 3.2.1 | Institution Members | The Institution Members cannot become a member of the Executive Committee. However, the Head of the Institution can Communicate well in advance and nominate any of its members to cast the vote in AGM/SGM. |
| 3.2.2 | Patron M Members | The Members can become a member of the Executive Committee and also has voting rights. |
| 3.2.3 | Life Member | The Members can become a member of the Executive Committee and also has voting rights. |
| 3.2.4 | Farmer Member | Farmer Member can become a member of the Executive Committee and can attend General Body Meeting |

- Technical know-how on cultivation of different agroforestry species.
- Market linkages with government and private organization
- Provide information regarding the success stories
- Participation in interactive meetings with stake holders.
- Participation in workshops and seminars
